Three abstracts have been accepted for presentations this year at:
In Norway I will be talking about two of my favorite topics:
- Session: “Cognition and welfare”: Social learning in horses under the title “Can horses watch and learn? – the good, the bad, and the not so ugly evidence of social transmission in horses”
- Session: Workshop 5 “Managing the dairy cow around the time of calving – can we do better?” under the title “What can we learn from studying the motivation underlying maternal behaviour of cattle?”
In Belgium I will try something new and relate my PhD studies to the impact of consumer demands on cattle farming systems:
- Session 67 “Impact of environmental challenges and consumer demands on cattle response traits and farming systems” under the title “Understanding maternal behaviour of cattle to optimize calving management and ensure animal welfare”
